What are the recommended fans for FA (factory automation) equipment?

FA equipment contains many heat-generating components, such as motors and control boards, and cooling by fans plays an important role in ensuring stable operation and preventing breakdowns. Adequate cooling can prevent the temperature inside the equipment from rising, which in turn reduces the risk of breakdowns.
Efficient cooling also extends the life of the equipment and saves energy, helping to reduce maintenance and running costs.
Furthermore, in factory environments, fans can be exposed to harsh conditions such as oil splatter and dust, and to maintain stable operation in such environments, fans with high environmental resistance are required.

Fans are sometimes used in harsh environments within factories, where there are high ambient temperatures, oil splashes, dust particles, etc. In such environments, it is important to select a fan with appropriate specifications to suit the operating conditions.
By using Wide Temperature Range Fan with highly durable parts and construction, stable operation can be ensured even in high ambient temperature environments, leading to reduced maintenance frequency. Furthermore, if dust protection is required, selecting Splash Proof Fan that complies with IP standards can prevent the intrusion of foreign matter. Meanwhile, Oil Proof Fan can ensure stable operation even in an oil mist environment*1.
By selecting products with high environmental resistance performance suited to the usage environment, it is possible to improve equipment reliability and reduce maintenance costs.

Splash Proof Fan

It has waterproof and dustproof performance with protection ratings of IP68, IP56, IP55, and IP54.
In addition to axial fans, our lineup includes Splash Proof Centrifugal Fan, Splash Proof Blower, Splash Proof ACDC Fan, and Splash Proof Centrifugal ACDC Fan.

Long Service Life

The lineup also includes a waterproof Long Life Fan (9WL type) with an expected lifespan of approximately 20 years (180,000 hours*3).

The IP (Ingress Protection) rating of our Splash Proof Fan series is based on IEC 60529 and applies only to live electrical components, such as motor coils and electronic parts. Mechanical components such as impellers and bearings are not included in this rating, so under certain conditions, like condensation or water exposure, these parts may be impacted.
When using the product for extended periods in environments exposed to dust, water, or condensation, implement appropriate countermeasures and evaluate based on specific usage conditions.

Wide Temperature Range Fan

It can be used in a wide temperature range from -40℃ to +85℃.

Long Service Life

The expected life is 40,000 hours*4 at an ambient temperature of +85°C.

ACDC Fan

This fan is powered by converting AC power to DC power inside the fan.
The excellent performance of DC Cooling Fan, such as low power consumption and long life, can be obtained with AC power.

Low Power Consumption

Low power consumption has been achieved by optimizing the conversion circuit and motor drive circuit.

High Airflow and High Static Pressure

By optimizing the blade and frame shapes, we have achieved high air volume, high static pressure, and low noise.
